Socedo Integrates with Eloqua to Help Marketers Follow up with their Leads
Social media can help you gain a more complete picture of your leads, by providing information like leads’ job titles, interests and buying intent. Without behavioural social data in your marketing automation platform, you could be missing out on valuable buying signals from highly qualified leads.
At this time, we’re excited to announce that we’ve completed our integration with Oracle Eloqua, one of the most robust marketing automation platforms on the market. By connecting Socedo’s social demand generation system with Eloqua, you’ll be able to add new Socedo leads into Eloqua automatically, keep track of your leads, build new engagement campaigns and/or marketing workflows using social data.
1. Automatically sync leads from Socedo into Eloqua
Once you connect your Socedo account to your Eloqua instance (see our Knowledge Base article for how to set this up), you can automatically export leads as contacts to your Eloqua database. For each lead or contact, Socedo will provide data fields including the contact’s name, corporate email address, title, company size, job title and more. In addition, Socedo will create and enrich contact fields to store social data, matching each contact to his or her Twitter and LinkedIn profiles.
In addition, Socedo will create a Custom Object in your Eloqua instance to store contact activities, so you’ll know which social network each contact comes from, the time when the contact took a social action, and the type of action taken (i.e. followed your brand’s Twitter handle, Click on a link in one of your Socedo DMs, responded to a DM, etc.).
2. Track your Socedo leads in Eloqua
Once all of your Socedo data has been synced into your Eloqua instance, you’ll be able to easily find these leads and put them into a new campaign or nurture program. All Socedo leads are marked with Lead Source data. In Eloqua, you can find them by creating a “Lead Source – Original” filter that matches “Socedo”.
Once this segment is created, you can add this segment to a campaign, a specific nurture program or assign these leads to sales reps to follow up with.
In addition, you’ll be able to view a contact’s timeline of activities including any engagement she’s had with your Socedo campaigns. Socedo stores these activities under each contact’s “Linked Records”.
