Description

3D printer extruder retrofit kit for E3D v6 hotend (1.75mm). This allows the use of the Flexion Extruder with the excellent E3D hotends – enabling precision extrusion of virtually every available filament from Nylon to ultra-flexible Shore 50A. This uses the same mounting hole pattern as the E3D extruder, and also has a couple mounting holes in the front (see drawing). It includes a PTFE tube cut to length for the E3D v6 hotends. So you’ll have all the same advantages of precision, supported, reliable filament driving with the flexibility to print at much higher temperatures. This kit is appropriate for RepRap and Lulzbot printers by following instructions here.

  • Flexion extruder
  • E3D mounting block
  • Precision cut PTFE guide tube (plus a spare), and alignment collar.
  • Clamp plate and mounting screws

I set this up on the Robo3D R1 and its awesome… i can actually print in ninja flex as well as 200mm/sec with PLA / ABS.

Here is a link to my Robo3d R1 mod with the E3D v6 Hotend and Flexion Extruder.
